Life at St. Patrick Parish

Spruce Property – The Diocese of Oakland has given St. Patrick Parish permission to sell the church property on Spruce Court and assigned Keller Williams Realty to prepare and sell the property. Fr. Michael and Fr. Larry will now live in the parish house on Vaqueros Avenue next to the church. The funds from the sale will go back to the parish funds held by the Diocese. Look forward to a welcome open house.

Knights of Columbus – Thank you to the Knights of Columbus, Father Dennis Glennon Council No.7663 for a contribution of $2,500.00 to St. Patrick Parish from their 2019 annual crab feed. The Knights have also donated $500.00 to help a seminarian who is preparing for Ordination to the Priesthood. Thank you Knights and to all who attended the Crab Feed.

Bible Class – Fr. Larry’s weekly Bible Class will resume on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 8:15 – 9:15am and repeated on Tuesday evening January 7 th at 7:30 – 8:30pm. The class will study the Gospel of Matthew which is the Gospel we will be hearing at Sunday Masses during 2020. Please put on to your calendar.

Simbang Gabi– Simbang Gabi starts Monday morning, December 16 th at 5:00AM every day for nine days. After a wonderful, prayerful Mass, we gather in the hall for a great breakfast and time with friends and a true preparation for Christmas. I pray and hope that all nine days will see our church filled and people experiencing a great way to prepare for Christmas.

Immaculate Conception – Monday, December 9 th we will celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, when the Blessed Mother was born without original sin, as she would be the Mother of Jesus. Masses will be at 7:30am, 9:00am and 7:30pm

Our Lady of Guadalupe – We will also celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Thursday, December 12 th at 7:30am Mass. Mary is Patroness of all the Americans.

Parking Lot – The Pastoral Council chose to keep our daily 7:30am Mass at 7:30am. Please be careful when leaving the Mass, people are bringing their children to school and just be alert and maybe help someone as they are backing out their car.
